For everyone who loves cycling and ice cream lovers, the Municipality of Bologna, Mobility Office, is organizing the event "Ice Bike". The goal is to know the best ice cream in Bologna masters along the cycleways and around Bologna. Founded in 2004 and organized by the Monte Sole Bike Group, is an event that allows the environment, to learn more about the streets of Bologna and spend a night in joy. The events began in June and end in September. It starts from Piazza Maggiore and, along the existing paths, leads to two ice cream parlors, which will be voted upon by the participants. They will be responsible for taste two flavors (one on the theme of the evening, the other choice) in the two protagonists of ice cream each evening. At the close of the event will be a ranked list of ice cream. Among those who have participated in many portions of three evenings will be extracted from each 1 kg of ice cream to eat ice cream in the most votes. Not only has the opportunity to satisfy their greed, but will also be a way to learn the art of making ice cream and the virtues. In addition, you will discover the streets of Bologna secure and verify the practicability of the bicycle lanes in the dark.
